Dr. Lokesh Kumar Sharma received his M.B.B.S. Degree from Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Ravindranath Tagore medical college, Udaipur in 2003.
After obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree he cleared the prestigious All India Post Graduate Examination and joined PGI Rohtak, Haryana in 2005 and completed his post graduation in orthopaedics surgery in 2007.
After completing his post graduation he joined Santokbha Durlabhji Hospital in 2008 as a Senior Resident and worked there till 2011.
He was awarded in 2010 by National Board of Examination as Diplomat of National Board in Orthopaedics Surgery.
He was selected in 2011 for fellowship in advanced spine surgery from one of the most prestigious institutes of India Sancheti Institute of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, Pune Maharashtra. For this specialized training in spine surgery only two orthopaedic surgeons selected from all over India.
He was one of two, who got training from sept. 2013-Oct. 2013 for motion preservation, disc replacement in cervical and lumber from one of the most renowned first European centre for disc replacement, Germany.
He is trained in spinal deformity (scoliosis and kyphosis, congenital as well as lumbar) correction surgeries from the world-renowned centre in deformity correction ,Queens Mary Hospital, Hongkong in 2014.
He went to STAVYA SPINE HOSPITAL AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE AHMEDABAD GUJRAT in 2015 as a short-term visiting fellow in spine surgery to upgrade his surgical skills and decision making.
He was awarded by NATIONAL BOARD OF EXAMINATION, NEW DELHI as a MEMBER OF NATIONAL ACADEMY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES in 2016.
He completed his training as a fellow in MINIMAL INVASIVE SPINE SURGERY from Bombay Hospital, Mumbai June 2017.
